Elehear Beyond Pro Expert Review
Our independent lab tested the Elehear Beyond Pro using standardized acoustic measurements on a head-and-torso simulator. This review presents objective performance data for this behind-the-ear OTC hearing aid across speech clarity, streaming quality, and feedback management.

Quality data starts with quality recordings. HearAdvisor worked with GRAS to build a no-compromise front end so every test is repeatable and reliable.

Five Lab Metrics for the Elehear Beyond Pro
The score card below reports how the Beyond Pro measured on speech in quiet, speech in noise, own voice, music streaming, and feedback control. Each bar represents objective acoustic performance on a five-point scale.
How clearly speech comes through in calm, one-on-one surroundings.
Speech understanding against loud background noise — the toughest everyday test.
How natural your own voice sounds while wearing the aids, without a boomy, plugged-up quality.
Sound quality of music streamed to the hearing aids over Bluetooth.
Resistance to the whistling and squealing caused by acoustic feedback.
Scores use HearAdvisor’s public scoring scale and are based on measurements from our acoustic test chamber.
Fit Conditions
How We Tested the Elehear Beyond Pro in Initial and Tuned Configurations
We measured the Beyond Pro in both its Initial factory state and after completing the app-based Tuned fitting process. The summaries below describe performance characteristics observed under each condition.
In our initial fit evaluation using a closed dome and medium-power receiver with the manufacturer's proprietary default formula, the Beyond Pro achieved a normalized Initial Score of 4.2/5. Speech in quiet (3.3/5) and speech in noise (2.5/5) both measured above the category average. Music streaming performed strongly at 3.8/5, and feedback handling was excellent at 5.0/5. Own-voice comfort was the weakest metric at 1.2/5, falling below the category average. Out of the box, this device delivers solid speech and streaming performance but may feel less comfortable for users sensitive to occlusion effects.
What is HearAdvisor's Initial Fit?
The Initial Fit approximates the most likely settings and eartips for a typical moderate hearing loss. Results are measured across the same 72 acoustic scenes in our custom-built lab, then scored on a 5-star scale using an auditory model.
