Initial fit observations

In initial fit testing with a closed vented dome and medium-power receiver using Adaptive Phonak Digital 3.0, the Sphere Infinio achieved a normalized Initial Score of 4.9/5. Speech in quiet scored 4.0/5 and speech in noise scored 3.5/5, both solid starting points. Feedback handling was excellent at 4.9/5, while own-voice comfort measured 2.3/5. Music streaming performed strongly at 4.3/5. This initial configuration delivers strong out-of-box performance with minimal professional adjustment required.

Tuned fit observations

After professional tuning—maintaining the same closed vented dome and medium-power receiver with Adaptive Phonak Digital 3.0—the normalized Tuned Score improved to 5.2/5, a gain of 0.3 points. Speech performance showed notable improvement: speech in quiet rose to 4.5/5 and speech in noise jumped to an excellent 4.7/5. Feedback handling decreased to 3.6/5, a trade-off from the tuning adjustments. Own-voice comfort remained at 2.3/5, and music streaming measured 4.0/5.
